Waltham 16s 15J, circa 1912
Model 1908, Grade 620
Pendant Set, Stem Wind
Gold Filled "Dust Proof"
Swing Ring Case
Dial: This Arabic numeral
dial is signed WALTHAM. It is in good condition, with no visible
blemishes when the bezel is on. When the bezel is removed, a ring
of wear is visible near around the outside edge. The thin blue
spade hands are in excellent condition as well!
Movement: This nickel
plated movement is signed AWWCO WALTHAM MASS, as well as 15 JEWELS.
This well running antique pocket watch has been professionally cleaned
and oiled, and is keeping good time!
Case: This case
is opened by unscrewing the front bezel, pulling the crown to the
setting position, and lifting the movement ring. The complete movement
swings open on the hinge, exposing the watch movement. This gold
filled case is in good condition, but does have signs of honest
use. There are a few minor scratches and scuffs here and there,
but it has not been abused. The bezel threads on and off properly,
and the hinge is in good working order. The round bow is nice and
snug. It is discolored and is likely a replacement. The crown has
lots of life left as well. Overall, this is a beautiful case with
lots of life left!
Crystal: The
clear glass crystal is in great condition!
