Dial: This original
Arabic numeral dial is signed WALTHAM. It is in pristine condition
with no hairline crack or blemishes visible. It is hard to find
these old dials in such condition! The spade hands are in excellent
condition as well!
Movement: This highly
damaskeened nickel plated movement is signed P. S. BARTLETT WALTHAM,
MASS 17 JEWELS ADJUSTED. The gilding does have some very minor blemishes,
but is still pretty bright and shiny. The high grade movement features
screw down jewel settings, a patent "gold star" micro
regulator, and an expansion balance. This well running American
watch has been serviced recently, and is keeping good time!
Case: The screw
back and bezel case is marked FAHY'S ORESILVER. This nickel alloy
case has some minor scuffs and scratches from normal wear. The front
bezel and rear cover thread on and off properly. The bow and crown
show little use. Overall it shows well!
Crystal: The
clear glass crystal is in nearly new condition!
