Screw Back and Bezel Case
Dial: This original
dial is signed WALTHAM. This classic dial features black Arabic
hour numerals with a red 5 minute numerals. It is in pristine
condition with no noticeable signs of abuse. The cobalt blue spade
hands are in excellent condition as well!
Movement: This nickel
plated movement is signed AMERICAN WALTHAM WATCH CO, 17 JEWELS.
This high grade movement features the screw down jewel settings,
patent microregulator, and an expansion balance. It shows real well!
This well running American watch has been serviced recently, and
is keeping good time!
Case: This case
has a lot of wear. Most of the original design has worn off to a
smooth finish. It has been replated, although there is still some
spots wear the gold has worn off to the brass base metal below.
It is also shows some sort of discoloration consistent with replating.
It is in good working order. The front bezel and read lid thread
on and off properly. The bow nice and secure. The crown has seen
some use, but has lots of life left as well.
Crystal: The
thick clear glass crystal is in nearly new condition!
