Gold Filled Case
Dial: The factory painted
metal dial signed WALTHAM. The dial shows signs of age, including
some of the black paint deteriorating. There are also some other
spots visible in the pictures below (click on any photo for full
screen image). The blue "moon style" hands are in excellent
shape, while the seconds and shows signs of its age.
Movement: The movement

jewel settings, and an expansion balance. This well running American
watch has been serviced recently, and is keeping good time!

is in good working order. It is signed C.W.C.Co FOR WALTHAM COLONIAL
SERIES inside the back cover. This case is in very good shape, with
minor scuffs and some minuscule amounts of brass showing upon very
close inspection. Both hinges function properly. The bow appears
original as does the crown. Overall is a fine surviving example
of Waltham's Colonial Series pocket watches.
Crystal: The
clear glass crystal has some minor wear from normal use, but still
shows very well.
