Double Hinged Nickel Case
Dial: This original
single sunk dial is signed AWCO WALTHAM. This classic dial features
Roman hour numerals with a minute track towards the edge. It is
in pristine condition, with no blemishes visible upon close inspection.
The cobalt blue spade hands are in excellent condition as well!
Movement: This shiny
gilt movement is signed WM ELLERY, WALTHAM, MASS. This well running
American watch has been professionally serviced, and is keeping
excellent time!
Case: This very
uncommon double hinged case is in good working order. It is not
signed, but appears to be a nickel alloy. There are a few dings
and light surface scratches from honest use, but this heavy duty
nickel alloy case has a lot of life left. The bow nice and secure.
The crown is well worn but still winds and sets the watch fine.
Crystal: The
clear glass crystal is in nearly new condition!
