South Bend Marked Gold Filled Case

Dial:  Original "South Bend" marked porcelain dial is in excellent shape! There are no hairlines or cracks visible to the naked eye. There are minor scratches visible upon close inspection, but still shows great! You would be hard pressed to find a South Bend dial in better shape than this one! Deep blue hands all appear to be original, and in superb shape!

Movement:  This 19J watch has been professionally cleaned, oiled and adjusted, and is keeping great time. It is marked "219" and "Adjusted Temp 4 Positions".

Case:  Original gold filled case is marked Panama and South Bend. Both bezels unscrew and rethread as they should. Case back has a design that is worn, but there is very very minor brass showing through, visible only to the trained eye! The original bow seems a bit worn, but is secure. This case is in real good shape!

Crystal:  Recently fitted with a new old stock thick glass crystal. Shows perfect!

This is an EXCELLENT example of an Original South Bend watch. With a total production of around 850,000 watches, South Bends are a lot less common than Elgins (55,000,000+) and Walthams (35,000,000). Don't miss your chance to add this high grade South Bend to your collection!
