Dial: Beautiful double sunk
original Railroad dial with bold black Arabic numerals. There is a slight
hairline between the 57 and 58 minute mark that can be seen under heavy
scrutiny. The matching bold black hands are in excellent shape.
Movement: Marked "Bunn
Special", "21 Jewel", "Adjusted Temp & Six
Positions", "Double Roller". Recently cleaned and oiled,
this watch has gold jewel setting and a gold train (gears). Watch runs
great!
Case: Gold filled case marked "Philadelphia
Watch Case Co" , has some minor dimples on back cover. Both covers
screw on and off easily. Case has some signs of brass towards bottom of
watch due to normal wear.
Crystal: Clear plastic crystal looks
new! I think it has been replaced sometime is the last few years.
The Bunn Special is one of the most
collectable RR pocket watches today!
