Base Metal Case
Dial: This original
HAMILTON RAILWAY SPECIAL signed dial has been refinished. It is
in new condition! The heavy spade cobalt blue hour and minute hands
appear as new as well!
Movement: This Railroad
grade movement is marked HAMILTON WATCH CO, LANCASTER, PA, 21 JEWELS
as well as 992B, ADJUSTED TEMP AND 6 POSITIONS in black filled engraving.
The magnificent nickel damaskeening is bright and shiny and in excellent
aesthetic and mechanical condition. It has been professionally serviced
and is keeping great time!
Case: The screw
back and bezel case is signed KEYSTONE BASE METAL. It is in good
condition with some signs of pocket wear, but no wear to the base
metal below the finish. The bezel and back lid thread on and off
properly. The bow is nice and snug. The crown has a lot of life
left as well.
Crystal: Recently
fitted with a stunning thick glass crystal!
