Hamilton 12s 17J, circa 1921
Model 910, Adjusted, OF
Pendant Set, Stem Wind
Gold Filled "Hamilton" marked case
Dial: Original dial is
signed Hamilton in black over the white dial. It features Arabic
numerals and shows well, despite the spider hairline marks near
the center of the dial by the 10 hour mark, as seen in the photo.
The deep blue hands are correct for the 12 size Hamilton watches,
and are in excellent shape.
Movement: The movement
is marked "Hamilton Watch Co, Lancaster, PA, 17 Jewels, Adjusted"
along with its model "910". It features an expansion balance,
screw down jewel settings, and a micrometric regulator. It has been
professionally cleaned, oiled, and timed and is ready to be worn
every day, or put into your collection.
Case: I believe the case
is 14 Kt Gold Filled. It is marked "Hamilton Watch Co, Lancaster,
PA" The both hinges are in good shape. There are a couple of
touches of brass, a couple of minor dimples on the back of the case,
and about an inch long scratch on the back cover, as seen in the
photos. It certainly sounds worse than it is. The clear glass crystal
looks to have been replaced recently and shows very well.
