Case
Dial: This original
HAMILTON signed dial is in excellent condition, with very minimal
signs of its age visible upon close inspection under magnification!
This common rail road style dial features bold black Arabic numerals
are surrounded with red five minute numerals. The heavy spade cobalt
blue hour and minute hands appear to be original, with some signs
of age. All in all they are in good condition.
Movement: This Railroad
grade movement is marked "HAMILTON WATCH CO, LANCASTER, PA, 21 JEWELS"
as well as "DOUBLE ROLLER, ADJUSTED 5 POSITIONS, MADE IN U.S.A"
in gold engraved lettering. The magnificent nickel damaskeening
is bright and shiny and in excellent aesthetic and mechanical condition.
It also features a rose gold center wheel and timing screws, as
well as an expansion balance, Breguet hair spring, steel escape
wheel, and a double roller. It has been professionally serviced
and is keeping excellent time!
Case: The HAMILTON
signed case is referred to as a Salesman's case. It is also commonly
referred to as a factory glass back. It features a snap bezel on
the dial side, as well as glass crystal on the back side to view
the watch movement. The bezels snap on and off properly. The bow
is nice and snug and the crown has a lot of life left as well. This
is a real nice case for the collector!

crystals show well and are in nearly new condition!
