Hamilton 18s 17J, circa 1901
Model 927, HC
Lever Set, Stem Wind
Very Fancy Ornate Nickel Case with Elk
Dial: Single sunk original dial
features black Roman numeral hour marks surrounded by radial Arabic
red 5 minute marks on the outside edge. The dial is signed "Hamilton
Watch Co" in fancy script. The dial doesn't appear to have
any hairlines or blemishes of any sort to the naked eye. The light
spade hands are also in excellent shape.
Movement: Highly damaskeened
nickel movement is running good and keeping time. This adjusted
movement features a Breguet hair spring, micrometric regulator,
and an expansion balance. It is marked 17 Jewels.
Case: This is the fanciest
nickel case I have ever seen. This highly engraved case features
an elk engraved on the back side of the case. The front lid has
fancy engraving and an initial shield that has not been engraved.
The scalloped outside edge of the case is very ornate and also highly
engraved. The lids open and close as they should, the case spring
and hinges also function properly.
Crystal: Clear glass crystal
is in excellent shape!
