Gold Filled Screw Back Case
Dial: This original
ELGIN signed dial is in excellent condition, with very minimal signs
of its age visible upon close inspection under magnification! Overall
it shows very well. The heavy cobalt blue Railroad hands also appear
in excellent condition!
Movement: B.W.
Raymond railroad grade movement is in excellent mechanical condition.
Aesthetically, there are some extremely minor blemishes on the movement
that do not effect its performance. The nickel damaskeened
movement has 21 jewels, is lever set, and adjusted to 5 positions.
It also features gold jewel settings as well as a gold center wheel.
It has been professionally serviced and is keeping excellent time!
Case: The case
is marked KEYSTONE J BOSS 10K GOLD FILLED. It is also marked CASED
AND TIMES BY ELGIN NATIONAL WATCH CO. It is in fine shape. There
is no wear to the brass visible upon close inspection. However,
the bow appears to be a replacement. The bow is nice and tight,
and it is in good condition as well. The crown is grips well, and
the bezel and case back thread on and off properly.
Crystal: The
2 mm thick clear glass crystal is in new condition!
