Gold Filled Screw Back and Bezel Case

Dial:  This original single sunk Arabic numeral dial is signed ELGIN. The dial appears to be in pristine condition, as perfect as the day it left the factory over 100 years ago! The thick cobalt blue spade hands are in excellent condition as well!

Movement:  The nickel damaskeened movement is in excellent condition! This was one of the higher grade movements when it was produced. It has the more desireable three finger train bridge. It is marked G.M. WHEELER, ELGIN, ILL, USA in gold filled engraved lettering. It features an expansion balance, patent micro-regulator, and 17 jewels in screw down settings! It has been professionally cleaned and oiled and is keeping good time!

Case:  The screw back and bezel case in in good condition. There are some signs of use, including some very minor wear to the brass, as well as minor dings and tiny scuffs due to normal pocket wear. The front bezel and back cover thread and unthread properly. There is a lot of life left on the bow and crown.

Crystal:  Nice clear glass crystal looks in nearly new condition!
